Breathable, washable, and imperishable; Lurex is fabricated when a metallic layer—gold, silver or aluminum, for instance—is fluxed around a yarn to make it shimmer and glisten. Predominantly, it's the make of conventional knit fabrics with an added layer of glimmer on top!
