Plain Mashru Silk
Mashru (Mushroo, Mashroo, Misru) is a woven cloth that is a mix of silk and cotton having a satin finish and striped Ikat. The entwining of Mashru fabric is an old heritage in India and it was a favoured trading textile to the Ottoman empire and Gulf countries. At the moment,it is an integral share for the bridal trousseau in a variety of communities in the semblance of sarees and lehengas.
